Go with the comfort - but I actually prefer the style of Clarks. I think it fits your lady0-like style better than Rockport's sporty type.

Another Clark's lover here. If you have fussy feet, don't compromise. I don't believe in 'breaking in' shoes at the expense of your foot health.

I like the cut outs personally but I definitely not a fashion expert! I have these though in silver and they are very comfortable (I have trouble with shoes) they also come in black and are plain and versatile. Maybe if you show the cut out ones styled others will come around? Good luck!

Oh I just saw these that are similar to yours but without the bow if that is an issue :)
and they have nude colored ones!
Your tired-from-wearing-heels feet will love you for the ballet Clarks. I would probably not choose a cut-out style for myself, as I might not wear them in the colder months.

My round toe ballet flat happy self loves the clarks. I would totally wear them (that makes them awesome right LOL?). These arent instead of those fab matellic snake silver cap toe numbers right? Those are what will amp your style. The clarks are a pretty summer shoe though and a good replacement. FWIW I dont care for the heavy black sole on the rockports.
I like the black shoes and think they will work well with your wardrobe and your fussy feet. They feel classic to me. I am not too sure about the tan suede ones. Perhaps keep looking for those?

I'm not sure about the fashion elevation you are looking for - but, IMHO, the Clarks, due to their rounded toe and the bow, are very girlish and unmodern to my eye. (sorry!) The laser cut-outs remind me of the shoes that my 80+ mother and her friends wear (again, sorry!) If you want a laser cut shoe, I would look for one that is more contemporary in the design of the cut-outs - it seems to me that this type of cut-out has been around for a long time. Or, I would look for one sans the bow - or with a more pointed toe, rather than the rounded toe.

The Rockports - because they don't work as your color of nude and because you don't think they'd be a good summer shoe - are a no-brainer. I'd return those for sure!

I hope I'm not being too harsh about the Clarks. It may be just that I am really tired myself of rounded toes and bows and that is making me biased towards these shoes!
They are both cute, but I'd let your feet vote on this one. If you're anything like me, you need at least one pair of perfectly comfortable black ballet flats in your wardrobe, and it sounds like yours need replacing. After that it's all icing.

I love the Clarks, obviously, since half of my shoe wardrobe is from them. I also love these particular flats for you. For the other pair, you might have your answer already: "Rockport - I really wanted these to work as nude for me. They don't, and they are suede, so probably not great for the summer. ". I don't think suede is a big issue, but maybe the fact that they don't work as nude for you is. I vote keep the Clarks, return the Rockports, and keep looking for a light pair of dressy flats. You'll be happy to have both.

ETA: The Clarks are also the more stylish of the two, IMO. I like the sole and the cutouts a lot!

Both pair fit, but the Clarks are WAY more comfortable. Not sure if the Rockports will break in or not.

Clarks - I need to replace my black ballet flats, and I thought these might be modern enough with the laser cut-outs. Really not sure on their style quotient.

Rockport - I really wanted these to work as nude for me. They don't, and they are suede, so probably not great for the summer.

Would love to hear your thoughts. Are these fashionable shoes, or are these not going to give my outfits the elevation I am looking for?
