And you know, if you wear SE shoes people who work in your small city shoe stores will BEG you to take them off so they can hold them and marvel at them. To help narrow it down I wouldn't keep anything uncomfortable or that doesn't fit. Also if you don't like the animal print then you could eliminate that too. You could however find other colours &amp; sizes elsewhere, &amp; even another pair of the black &amp; white may not be uncomfortable. I find the Sam Edelman &amp; the Splendid ones the most attractive but really they all are. Oh &amp; I guess you need to ask yourself which ones fill a hole or will get the most use? I personally don't think that tongue is going to loosen up enough on the Fisherman ones to be comfortable - I think it's because the placement of that part is quite high on the foot and no matter how soft it gets, it will always catch you right where you bend your ankle when you walk. I like the look of the animal print ones, but do prefer the first pair in terms of colour. The mix of colours is great and they look good on your foot. I love the black and white too. If you can wear them around the house a bit more perhaps the leather tongue will soften up. They are such a unique look. I also like the Evanstons - there's a grey and turquoise version that's quite pretty, but if they are a nuisance to put on perhaps they're not for you.
