I like it a lot a this length! Every inch of length you add will also add more volume. Just on the knee is a good classic length

I really like this length on you and i think it fits well. I am not sure I would go a whole lot longer as the skirt has flare but I am not sure it has enough flare for a lot more length, if that makes sense.

I vote keep and wear it out to dinner!

I think it is perfect as is, and it looks gorgeous on you. I was also going to suggest trying the Tall if you would prefer a bit more length, no harm in giving it a go.

Ingunn, I agree! I have often found your outfits inspiring for that reason - easy to see how I'd put them into practice myself.

Laughing at the thought of ordering something in a tall.

CF, this is a beautiful skirt and I'm happy you're keeping it. The color suits you perfectly. Yes, is there any way to let the hem out as the size 0 looks like a great fit and as Suz mentions, you don't want a larger size (2) shifting around your waist too much. So happy you're going for this colorful change.

It looks great on you! And I agree it should sit at the waist. One problem with buying skirts on the loose side is that they tend to twist around as you move so you end up with the back zipper at the side (or a side zip in the front). So moving around in it for a while is key.

You could try the tall for comparison if you want a longer length.

When you said too short, I expected it to be mid-thigh! I think this length is fine, and I'm on the too-short-skirt vigilante force. It's at the knee, can barely see the knee. Also, the fuller style is much more forgiving when sitting than is a pencil skirt, so it will certainly be fine in motion as well. Looks good!

I think your size and shape is similar to mine, and we have the same height, too. I would have worn this skirt exactly like you do, and I totally agree that it should sit in the natural waist. I'm a 4 in BR-sizes, but have to size down a lot in flared skirts. This is really flattering on you, and definitely not too short! I would love to have that skirt myself. Keep!

Thank you guys! If you think the length is OK and not too juvenile I will keep this one and wear it out to dinner tonight. Aside from my burgundy cords every single bottom I own is denim, black, or grey, this is a big change for me.

Is there any hem allowance that could be let out? The fit really looks perfect as is.
I think the yoga top is a good way to assess the fit and not be distracted by other detials, actually... food for thought for me and my fit issues.

It looks pretty and like it fits you well. I like the length actually. Are you thinking that if you had a size 2, it would ride lower around your waist? I guess there's only one way to figure this out and that would be to try the 2. Can you order it?

Apologies for the yoga top! I will try it with some real clothes later.

I truly love the color and already have a scarf, a cardigan, a tee, and a tank in exactly this shade of orange/red. The fabric has a lot of body, but the skirt should still be wearable in summer because it's so loose.

My only concern is this. On the one hand, I feel like full skirts are easier to style if they sit somewhere near the actual waist, that's why I picked this size. On the other hand, I wish this was an inch longer.

I'm 5' 4", this is the regular. I usually wear a 4; this skirt in a 4 sat where low-rise jeans sit. This is a 0, but I'm wondering if the 2 - which they didn't have in my store - would be better.
