Have you looked at Yoox at all? I seem to remember that is where I ordered like 6 different ones from. There was also a nice navy raincoat at NAS by Cole Haan, though it had more of a parka styling and not trench styling. And I see nothing wrong with the length or anything else. But as others have said, it doesn't seem to be hitting the right notes for you. So for that reason, it makes sense to keep looking. OTOH, since Nordstrom's has such a great return policy, you could hang onto it with the tags as you look. If nothing better turns up, then send it back. I have been looking for a new one for over two years and have not found anything that 'sings' to me. In January I tossed my old one because I thought by not have it around it would make it easier for me to find another. It really, really needed to go and I do not feel bad about it. But, that leaves a BIG hole in my closet for the rainy days. This one is the best I have found so far.  Positive - swing style (I love swing coats)                 not a classic trench                 color is versatile Negative - Length. This may just be my eye because my old one came almost to my ankles.                   Color. My old one was a beautiful dark purple. Maybe this like trying to replace an old love with a new one. I'm taking my cues from you that you don't LOVE this. IDK, but I think a great coat should make your heart sing. I can't find anything wrong with this coat, but if you don't love it, and you're not desperate for a raincoat, I'd keep looking. You deserve to be "singing in the rain & stomping in the puddles" thrilled in your coat! It is online only so I was not able to try it on in the store. I am not sure if I like it. The color is ok and will go with everything. It has a funnel neck option and I really like the swing look.  I think my issue is my old one was long, from the late '80s and all of the raincoats I have seen in the past 2 years are shorter. I do not like a belted trench, in fact, I do no really care for the trench style at all.  Please be honest.   EDA - I added pics in a skirt and pants (and I dropped my camera, boo)
