In the side view (photo 4), there's a uniform ruching, which is nice. That's one way to wear them at the current length--I think I like that effect better than what is shown on the models, with the extra length pooled at the cuff. You could shorten the sleeves, too, if you wanted a more conventional look. The knit cuff is probably the easiest type of sleeve finish to shorten.
