Take a few stitches where the strip crosses in order to secure it, then sew them to the other edge. Voila. Sweater that can close. DH really liked it until we noticed that, and he said to send it back. I do usually wear my sweaters buttoned or zippered as it, well, amazing cold. Perhaps it should be a deal breaker.</p>
