So then must decide if it’s a good basic for you or if the print is just a deal- breaker. But not sure if you see it as much IRL?<br /> I notice the model is wearing very high heels with a lot of exposed foot, which has the effect of making the dress proportionately shorter on the ‘leg’, breaking up the pattern too. So hemming might help with lower shoes.<br /> I like the dress and the fit. Before making a final decision, definitely experiment with belts (both different belts and different placements), and try on various shoes with the dress. In the past, when I have thought that something didn't look good, once I tried on appropriate shoes, things looked completely different and I was in love with the item.
