Astrid - feeling for my fellow pear. I am attracted to this top & I think it looks ok tucked but not brilliant. I have some tops that hit me at about the same place on my thighs that I love but know aren't the most flattering for a pear to wear they eventually end up bing donated to someone else.

Thanks Diana. Here's a picture of it with an untidy semi-tuck. That reminds me, I really need to hem these jeans.

Thanks Denise. You're right, the drape could be better, but I like that the neckline isn't so low - it doesn't need a cami underneath. The color and embroidery are definitely lovely.

ETA
Thanks Shannon!

I'm not loving it on lovely you. Maybe hold out for a boxy top with better drape and a lower neckline is what I'm thinking. I like the color and embroidery though.

I actually prefer it looser, as in 1-2, although I agree that maybe an inch or so shorter might be more flattering. Try a semi-tuck with belted jeans!

Thanks DJ. I haven't tried it with the skinnies yet, but it's definitely too tight around the hips with the original length.

Thanks Victoria. That's what I feared.

I think i can see the appeal but its supposed to be kind of loose and I dont think the look is ideal on you. It does look a bit better shorter but its still not a favorite of mine:(

Hmm, I like it as is in 1-2. Have you tried it with your skinnies? I think the original length may be more versatile.

I ordered some tops on sale that arrived today and this one is the only one I'm considering. I know that boxy shirts aren't the best look on me, but I really like the idea of it and the color and embroidery of this one are just my thing. It's a bit too long and too tight around the hips. I would shorten it a bit and maybe do some vents on the sides. Does it look better when it's more tailored? I just used four needles to pin the sides in #3/4, so it's pulling, but you can imagine what it would look like.

What do you think?
