The proportions look good, though I too might raise the belt just a smidge.</p> <p>The only thing is, I'm of two minds about the hem. On one hand, I think it adds a nice line to the coat (I like A-line skirts and dresses, so no surprise that I like this as well) -- maybe this is one reason your husband likes the shape. It's hard to judge color, since the pics are dark, but fit-wise the BR cream trench seemed better to me. I'm not sure I can explain what it is. This one, it seems like the belt is too low -- though that is easily fixable if you want to take it to the tailor. And could also be the photo angle - in real life I might rule differently.&nbsp;But also I wonder if the buttons are spaced&nbsp;too far apart? You have a very slim frame and I worry that the wide spacing is widening you. Maybe I'm being too picky.&nbsp;</p> <p>I saw a red trench somewhere in my recent online wanderings.
