I may have a personal bias here, which is that I am still struggling with post-baby pooch, which means that jeans that fit on my waist, droop on my butt, and I hate it. If you really like the look may I recommend sizing up on Zara skinnies for a similar effect. The rag and bone jeans look like they fit nicely on the top, but the length is throwing me. I would vote not sufficiently flattering especially with your concern about being able to hem them to your satisfaction. </p> <p>I do really like the bag. The color and fringe looks magical with your hair. I am concerned whether it is too large to be practical--as a tote bag it is awesome, but as a purse it seems too large and too easy to be stolen from. Also, if you really use it as a tote bag, can the leather stand up to the weight put on it? Those would be my concerns. I don't think the bag needs to match the shoes perfectly. Super cool look!</p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/kr----jeans-bag-booties#post-1589793 Thu, 03 Dec 2015 21:34:41 +0000 CocoLion 1589793@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Hello all -- here are some recent acquisitions I'm on the fence about. &nbsp;Some purchased during Shopbop's Black Friday event (buy more save more kind of promo up to 25% off), and prior to that from Nordstrom. &nbsp;</p> <p>Pictures 1/2 -- TopShop ankle boots. &nbsp;Angie twin! &nbsp;I like them a lot, not sure how many opportunities I will have to wear them though. &nbsp;The slim ankle fit and boxy toe are a fun change. &nbsp;Plenty of room in them for my high volume feet (surprisingly).<br />Pic 3 -- Rag &amp; Bone cropped jeans. &nbsp;Would need to size down to achieve same fit as model. &nbsp;I'm just sort of "meh" about them. &nbsp;Haven't asked for a price adjustment, not sure if I will keep them. &nbsp;Inseam is not 26" as stated, it is 27" I would need to shorten them.<br />Pic 4 -- Opening Ceremony Grunge Platform booties. &nbsp;Stiff, hard to get on, not a great fit = going back. &nbsp;I keep striking out with this brand.<br />Pics 5/6 -- Sam Edelman fringe tote bag. &nbsp;Uncertain. &nbsp;I thought the color would match the Acnes better. &nbsp;Bag might be too large. &nbsp;But -- nice leather, good price, fun, and does it need to match perfectly?<br />Pics 7 - 11 -- R13 drop crotch cropped black jeans. &nbsp;Shown with different footwear. &nbsp;In order to counter the two leg shortening factors (cropped 22" inseam and dropped crotch), I feel a tonal effect is required with a dark top. &nbsp;Note intentionally baggy backside in picture 9.<br />Pics 12/13 -- Comparison pair of <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.fiveunits.com/shop/?prod=9158#!prettyPhoto">5 Units</a> (Danish brand) jeans from 2014 via Urban Outfitters that I've never worn. &nbsp;They are still making this cut (the Jolie). &nbsp;Same drop crotch but longer inseam and different wash. &nbsp;Don't care much for the pockets. &nbsp;Since these are paid for should I just try wearing these? &nbsp;I do think the R13 have a better execution of this concept but then again I also like the length of the 5 Units.</p> <p>Please vote yay or nay on each piece if you care to give that much time! &nbsp;Your opinions are highly valued.</p> <p> </p>
