The shoulder line looks perfect and so do the sleeves. What i notice when you size up is that the sleeves get disproportionately bigger in circumference, so the overall effect is quite sloppy. This jacket is such a nice fit - I'm wondering if there are any matching pieces that you could try. If you could add a skirt or pants then you would have a really versatile suit that you could easily dress up with some sparkle for cocktail events. Take a look at the shoulders...that's probably the most important spot to make sure fit is right. Most of my jackets are snug at the hips too. I think for a business casual office, the answer is yes. If I can’t wear it to work, there is no point in keeping it though. My casual weekend life with a toddler simply does not have room for dry clean only clothes.</p> <p>Pics 1&amp;2 – My “normal” size. The bottom button is a bit snug.</p> <p>Pics 3&amp;4 – One size up. Nothing is snug here anywhere, but I almost feel like it is really too big. Kind of swimming a little.</p> <p>Are either of these contenders worthy of a place in my closet? While one might fit better, I only want to keep it if it fits better and looks good on me. </p>
