The jacket, sure, it's over.<br />The trench, you look great in, as you can so do in so many things, but it's not really&nbsp;the modern easier fit and look, I guess. So I'd have to be practical--is it a placeholder that you need to have to get around, or is a style-blocker and you'll wear it just because you have it. Or sometimes it's not good to get rid of something if you really don't want to feel pressured into getting its replacement. I think that's the hardest thing. I know the swap is the immediate thing, but sometimes I let retail research help me compare things I have and see if I really ought to move on or if the new items aren't so much different or better after all--as in, I'll wear said items or outfits while shopping. It seems a bit "shrunken" for today's more fluid fits. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/kp-jackets#post-1377100 Thu, 16 Oct 2014 17:40:50 +0000 Mo 1377100@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>I'm going to a clothing swap tonight with some GF's. &nbsp;I have a couple of jackets I'm on the fence with. &nbsp;<br />The first is a Tencel lightweight tab sleeve safari style&nbsp;with studding. &nbsp;Wore it quite a bit when I first got it. &nbsp;Now I'm feeling like much of my other cargo stuff, and over it. &nbsp;I kind of think my new&nbsp;blue/grey anorak is taking it's place?<br />The second is a petite trench. &nbsp;I like it, and kind of feel like a spy when I wear it lol, but I wonder if it's not really fitting to my lifestyle. &nbsp;I rarely find myself grabbing for it. &nbsp;But should I give it a fair shake and keep it another season, to decide after this fall and next spring? &nbsp;Perhaps my FL moves interrupted the times I might use it, transitionally? &nbsp;Also, I wonder if the belt is just a teeny too high and I should move it if I do keep it.<br />I have a harder time purging jackets it seems than other items. &nbsp;They seem so infinitely useful, and I do wear them a lot in Tahoe. &nbsp;So help me to decide if I'm just holding on or if maybe I could get some use from these! &nbsp;thx </p>
