The jeweler I talked to said that there is a lot of variability in ring sizes, so even if you were able to specify a ring size, there is no guarantee that the rings will all fit the same. Mine are tapered so these would fall off, but if you have straighter fingers they might work. They do look neat, and I think you could definitely pull them off style-wise. The jeweler warned me exactly about your concern: you need to really be sure that the ring is on a finger where it's not going to fall off! For that, you need to pick fingers where the first knuckle is a little bit wider than the finger, so that the first knuckle will prevent the ring from falling off. You also have to make sure that you try the rings on before you buy to make sure that you get the exact right fit.
