I just purchased a a pair of knee-high, water-resistant suede boots to wear with skirts/dresses in the colder months here, and I think it’s a classic look as long as the boots aren’t too trendy (exaggerated toe, etc.). I suspect I will keep them for quite a few years. With the new jeans silhouettes though, I don't find the skinny jeans and knee high boots look very trendy. By all means, I will keep my nice knee high boots, and will be wearing them from time to time. My stylist had me try on these flat suede weitzman boots and I was surprised to find them so cute. I live in S. California so no issues wearing suede. I just want to make sure I’ll get good use of them and that they won’t be out of style within a year!
