I was feeling bad about passing on shoes and boots from 2-5 years ago for changing comfort reasons, but to have that shift just since last fall seems unfair. </p> <p>I have an old pair of taupe tall boots, but they are quite slouchy, not a close fit to the leg at all. So they have a very casual vibe. I'm not sure whether they seem current because I don't see anything else like them out there now, but they are (yet again) Frye, so it seems they should be "classic." Here's a pic. If the waist ties hit too low, the top bunches up, trying to eek itself up my body to my natural waist; too high and it runs into my boobs.
