I think you're a gamine! Maybe a soft gamine? Because you look really yin and your face features are really soft and rounded. Also you look small. I thought theatrical romantic a little bit.
Have you seen the body types series of Aly Art on youtube? maybe that'll help!

Hi Jenni, I have considered Romantic but I feel like my face is too narrow and my body in general is not rounded enough to fit the category. I don’t know for sure, though.

I think you're really pretty too. Have you considered the Romantics especially Theatrical Romantic? And look at the website Style Syntax mainly, I read for hours on there!

I have my own Kibbe questions so I can't really be much help, but Soft Gamine seems appropriate.
You are very pretty, too.

Thanks guys! After reading about soft gamines and the clothes that look best on them I’m pretty sure I am one. Fitted waist, high collars, fitted arms; these look best on me. Thanks again!

Full disclaimer: I haven't read the book and have just picked up stuff here and there.

My thought is that since you are only 5'1", you are pretty much in the Gamine category. You would be Soft Gamine, which is fleshier than the Flamboyant Gamine. I am a Soft Gamine, and I don't have any boyish features either. From what I understand, Soft Gamine tends toward Romantic, so it is understandable that you have a Romantic side to your style. (I do too.)

I'm no expert, even though I've had the book for decades. :D Kibbe himself had, I think, disavowed the test in the book as it was put in at the insistence of the publishers. Also, he has more recently scratched the Natural, Classic and Gamine categories, going for more of a lean in one direction or the other, toward yin or toward yang. To me, you look like a Romantic.

Aly Art and Merriam Style on youtube have a lot of Kibbe explanations

and examples.

Hello everyone! So I’ve been trying to figure out my Kibbe body type but I can’t answer the questions without bias.

I think I’m either some sort of Gamine or Romantic. I actually feel that I might be theatrical romantic, but not the stereotypical “striking” kind. Maybe like Anna Kendrick (I admit she’s more slender and has sharper features so maybe not)?

I’m an X hourglass with proportions 34.5-28-38. My hips are not wider than my shoulders, I just have extra padding down there (‘^_^). I’m not crazy voluptuous though and my face is long/narrow but rounded. I have a big forehead, average eyes and medium-full but small lips. An average and round nose. Tiny hands and feet (child size). Rounded arms and thighs.... but I’m 5’1. I gain weight evenly throughout my whole body, even my face. I don’t see the huge contrast in features that Gamines have. I’m mostly round, like the Pillsbury Dough Boy. Nothing boyish or pixie-like. Hehe.

Or maybe I’m some miniature type of natural? Not sure, to be honest.
