If you search the forum Wandara, putting Kibbe in the search bar and make sure you choose the bottom option "All time" a lot will come up. I only heard of Kibbe for the first time ever here on the forum about 18 months ago. I looked into it and the most helpful site I found is Style Syntax- she has been blogging since 2014 about Kibbe and other systems including some colour ones.
I took the Kibbe quiz on a different site and was mostly Ds, which Kibbe doesn't really categorise. I finished up feeling I fitted Theatrical Romantic apart from my short hair- but until my pixie I did have wavy/curly hair as described. It was quite helpful but I don't follow any of the systems too religiously. I also wonder if I wanted to be TR because I liked Vivien Leigh so much! I was entranced by her growing up.

Not an expert, but ignore the height aspect or it will limit you to gamine or romantic. Think more about shape and proportion. I'm 5'2" and consider myself a soft natural and it works well for me, but would have been ruled out for height.

Thank you, Shevia.

I think maybe you are right. I believed I was a flamboyant gamin except for the fact that I have an hourglass figure and I don't look good in anything "boxy" which is supposed to be a thing for flamboyant gamins. Boxy clothes make me look square and heavier. However, I do look good in a mix-match of horizontal and vertical lines and unpredictable things that normally wouldn't go together.

Still, I guess that I was hoping that there'd be someone on the forum who was a wee bit of an expert in the Kibbe types. I've been watching the Aly Art videos and they do help a lot. I really appreciate you discussing it with me.

I am no Kibbe expert but you look taller than you are and have dramatic features, so if you are a gamine it is flamboyant gamine imho. I think one of the flaws in Kibbe's system is it does not allow for shorter dramatics. Again imho!

I wonder if I am a gamin body type and would love input. As I stated in an earlier post I have an hourglass body but relatively long arms and legs. I thought that I may be a theatrical romantic. Petite pants are often too short for me and petite blouses often have sleeves are too short for me even though I am only 5'2" tall. I'm attaching some photos. Today I went to a boutique in search of a little black dress only to discover that due to my muscular arms and legs that many of the dresses just didn't look right on me. I was hoping that someone on the forum might be able to help me identify my Kibbe type, which I know is only a guide but might give me a staring place. I love the seasonal analysis too and believe I am some sort of winter.
