But I wasn't really after a traditional trench. I have noticed the trench threads on the forum but haven't been wanting one myself. It was the idea of a light neutral coat that got me looking at these "trenches" on sale at Nordstrom. </p> <p>I can see that a hood isn't as appealing to a lot of people, but I think I really want a hood, too. And the removable lining. Those are things I use a lot in my green all-weather coat.
