good question, I don't know what I would use. But I think most of the slouchy styles at least have pleats, or you might look for drop crotch....he he

Welcome!

"Slouchy" describes the new dropped crotch trousers.

"Baggy" means a looser fit all round, not necessarily a dropped crotch.

You can have slouchy without baggy, and baggy without slouchy, or both.

"Boyfriend" might describe the type of fit in denim...or might not, depending on the maker.

It has been very difficult to find affordable versions of the slouchier, looser trousers at retail -- but Angie has noted some good sources. The Leith pants in the store are one option. You can also read her blog and follow the links to find some models. Zara has a few pairs.

I would look for "slouchy" as a keyword, primarily. Or perhaps "loose."
Here is one of Angie's posts: http://youlookfab.com/2013/02/.....-trousers/

Good luck - and let us know what you find!

i have seen them described as slouchy. there seems to be a big trend in what is being called track pants, but seem to me to really just mean woven looser pants.

I don't know the keywords but those are the Theory Copenhagen sized up. Those pants weren't designed as slouchies.

So I'm crazy about the looser, slouchier fit to pants that I've been seeing. Inspired by Angie's latest blog post, I'm on the hunt for a pair of my own...but I don't know how to find them! I do most of my shopping online, but I'm not sure what keywords are going to result in the cut that I want. I really would like something close to this: http://youlookfab.com/2013/03/.....windy-day/ - so should I look for slouchy? loose? baggy? straight-leg? what other characteristics should I pay attention to in the photos available online before ordering?

Thanks for all your help - this is my first original post on here I'm super excited about this new(-to-me) community!
