I also immediately thought there is a fit issue in the bust area. Sorry, but better to know now for sure.

As much as it pains me to say it sweet, Sal, because I love your excitement. I vote pass. I see what Janet sees with respect to fit concerns. It especially does not drape in front the way it should.

Something much better is waiting to find you

Sal, it’s a very cool blazer but I think it’s a little small — I see shoulder/bust fit issues, and the sleeves also look short to me. I get it — I’d be tempted too!

It’s better with a tee than the long sleeve. But I think if there is doubt - it’s $800 new here so guessing she would want a good price - I will leave it.

Prices shown are for high end consignment.

I will check the fit in the shoulder. That’s my biggest fit point usually - I have square shoulders and not a small arm! That’s why I often need a NZ14/US10 to get the width here.

It's a gorgeous blazer and looks good on you, Sal. It looks like the fit might be a little on the small side, though. The upper arm looks tight, pushing the shoulder up just a tad. And I want the back vent to stay closed when you're standing still; hard to tell if this is just the way you're holding your arms, though.

I'm judging the fit as if you were considering paying full price for the blazer; i.e., it should be just right. I don't know if you want to use that standard in this case, though. If it is comfortable, I could see it working really well for you as a nice jacket for work.

My friend is selling her Anine Bing Fishbone blazer. I suspect she will be wanting a good price for it. It’s a lovely blazer - well made and a good cut.

She suggested I try it on - here are some pics. It would be really useful for work. I really like it - I think it’s a yes. But is the fit right - pics online show it on people like Anine herself who has a very slim model frame. I would wear it to work mostly - it fits in with a lot of existing pieces.

So putting it out there - keep or return?
