I agree with Sveta the shoulders look a bit big. On Sveta there's a sharp shouldered look. On you that size looks boxy and to your point a bit too big. Is it possible to size down?

Well. I like the fit of the moto in the pics. It's a bulkier jacket, and the fit is quite on trend actually.

Nicole, try L regular too: the shoulder may be a bit smaller on the regular.

Nodding with Sveta -- it makes sense to compare fits in the different ones, since there is nothing to lose. You look amazing in the blue tones, regardless.

See - this is how long sleeves in Medium Tall on me - we need to measure for sure!
By all means try different sizes to select the perfect fit for yourself.

Yes, you're right its the shoulders that are a bit big, but the body fits how I like it....so maybethe the tall medium and wear it open? I will not return until I try the other sizes. That is so funny about the arms - I find these sleeves long but the not too long. I do like the fabric too, not too heavy, perfect for spring. Ok, I'll see about trying the medium and maybe the regular L. And I'll bring a tape measure to TO so we can compare arm lengths!

Nicole, is it a bit wide in the shoulders or not? The body looks good for oversized fit but I don't know if this is what you are after. I tried this jacket in Medium and Large and both fit well - Medium more fitted (but still on the boxier side) and Large is boxier still. I prefer Large because I want a boxy on trend jacket. I suggest you try Medium as well and also try them in Regular: nothing like comparing fit and size to make the right decision.
I am surprised that the sleeves are not as long as they were on me in L Tall in patterned one: they were at least 1" longer on me. Maybe they are shorter in Navy or maybe your arms are longer? We need to compare our arms in Toronto! :-)
I am attaching a picture how L Regular fits me so you can compare - I think the shoulders fir is a bit big in yours.

Your blazer is a different style and it is more fitted. Again it all depends what effect you are after: I do prefer a boxier fit.

The blouse looks really nice.

And please - please - if you decide to return the L Tall navy let me know: they are still not available online :-(

Thanks for indulging me!!!

Okay, Sveta, you have been very patient waiting for me to post these pics. First up is gap tweed moto in navyin large tall. I think it looks abit too big, doesn't it? Not the best pics, but feel like it's a bit bulky. Pics 3 and 4 are my little Ponte J Crew blazer, which is my usual navy structured topper. What do you think? By the way, the blouse is Isabel Marant Etoile. Part of my Chicago haul! It is so soft and I love the pattern.
Thanks for looking and feedback welcome.
