Management requested that we all wear tuxes, and of course, being a hugely male dominated field, there were only two of us women on the air staff. Management said we should just get pants like the guys, but both of us said eff that — the other woman wore a black miniskirt with the tux jacket, and I wore a long, floaty black midi skirt with mine! I use the excuse that it’s too cold in the bldg in the winter to be comfortable in a cheesy poly top and equally cheap cotton sweater - which is true - so I dress in my own version of our uniform and will until someone tells me otherwise . Yes , I’m that person . Anyways , we have to wear black shoes or boots , so this is today’s version : glitter trim Converse and bow trim Puma socks . Worn with new velvet trim On the Fly joggers . Feeling’ fancy tonight </p>
