If you have the space, why not? Sounds like you have some fab stuff. Just don't be surprised if tastes change in 10 years! It may take 20-30 years for things to cycle round again. I have this pic of my mom in the early 1970's (pre-kids) in a crazy bright psychedelic print minidress and brown suede knee high lace-up go-go boots...I always thought her outfits looked so ridiculous when I was growing up, but now that style is back in, and here I am buying a Target Missoni shirt that looks just like it!

I was so delighted by a leather coat of my mom's from her early wedded days that I thought I might store some of my things (that I am too old for, or which no longer fit) for my daughter. She's seven. Do any of you do this? If so, what do you put away?

Here's what I have socked away right now:

- All of my treasured Betsey Johnson slipdresses (from when my breasts supported themselves, cue nostalgia music)

- An openknit vintage cashmere dress and matching cardigan

- A Helmut Lang classic leather jacket that is now too small (argh)

- A Daryl K classic lightweight denim jacket which looks off-proportion now but will likely spin round by the time she wants it

Thoughts?
