That makes sense, Jenava. Buttoning it really did change the look of everything. I noticed that too when I did it for the pic.

Ok, if y'all say it's ok as a pinch hitter, I'll hang on to it. Thanks!

it' looks snug buttoned, but I rarely button any jackets although I like to know I can. So keep for those 2 days when you need it. Skirt looks fine to me.

I don't think it's a deal breaker, at all, that you can't comfortably button your jacket. Most people seem to wear them unbuttoned, don't they?

Do you plan to wear the jacket closed? if not, I wouldn't worry a bit about the buttons pulling.

I like the outfit with the jacket opened...I think with the jacket buttoned it makes the skirt seem more flared and a little younger. But with the jacket open I think it tones the skirt down a bit. Not sure if that makes sense!

So it's a YAY from me, as long as you wear it open and not buttoned.

This denim jacket is euphemistically "snug." I can get the buttons closed, but they do pull. I'm not a wearer of denim jackets; this is an in-case-of-style-emergency kind of thing for me. Like for now, when we're getting our two days of near 100 F heat, and need a cover up indoors.

What do y'all think? Yay or nay?

Also, bonus question: is this skirt too little girl?
