I would say keep. What I usually do with a luxury item like this is dry clean for the first year or two, then when it is not so in its moment and I've had my fun but still like it, I switch to handwashing. Silk is very washable if you simply dip it, rinse it and blot it. No washer time, period. Just dip, rinse, blot and let it take its time air drying. I don't object to handwashing, I wash all my cashmere. But when it comes to silks and rayons, they always seem to wrinkle up badly when air drying. The fabric is a really nice silk. </p>
