They went back today. I think it's a combination of factors -- the combination of height, slouchiness, the color, and the heel... And you know what, they were cheap, as Anna spotted. Faux leather. As someone who has gotten used to Fryes and my Lucchese cowboy boots and the like, they just didn't feel fab.
