Marlene-  So nice to find a bootie twin!  This was the lowest heel I could find. Many peep-toe booties seem to have higher heels.  I bought these specifically for skirts and dresses, so I definitely think you can rock them with skirts. Ironkurtin-  I'm curious, what don't you like about these sorts of shoes? Ameelizabeth-  I have made mistakes with gaping calves on boots (knee-high boots) which I had to purge so I am extra careful about footwear.  Plus, I can assess comfort but not fit so I sometimes end up with things that are too big or that are comfortable but too small.  YLF is so helpful. Susie- If it passes your poison-eye, they must be good.  Probably the low contrast with my skin tone that makes it slightly less noticeable. Elle-  I know, I need other people to help me decide sometimes.  That's why I love YLF.  It is like shopping with friends.  I think the VC sandals work because the vamp is lower and they have a back strap.  Cute! Adelfa-  So interesting that you think these are feminine.  I think that's what attracted me to them.  They have just the edge of a high vamped trendy shoe but they are true to my feminine style. One of the side views has a bigger gap than the other side view & Im wondering if if is the way you're standing. I don't think it's too big a gap though. As someone with skinny legs & ankles I know how hard it is to find booties without a gap. I didn't find a low heeled bootie yet without a gap but found a caged sandal bootie that has no gap. It is the Vince Camuto Eliana. I'd be interested to hear other opinions on the gap on you & hopefully Angie will chime in. When I'm really unsure I need the thumbs up or down from her to help me decide. I love how a bootie updates an otherwise very classic look in the winter so I thought I would try the same trick for summer wear. I love these booties because the color is close to my skin tone, the leather is perforated and super soft and the heel is slightly over two inches which is very manageable for me. They are very comfortable. I'm not sure about the side view though. They look good from the front and back but there is ankle gape visible from the side view. Not sure if this looks bad or not. Also, I'm not sure I'll be able to find peep toe booties that are an exact fit with my skinny ankles. Which doesn't mean I should keep them, just that I might not be able to do this kind of shoe. There are so many fit experts on YLF, I'm curious what you all think. Thanks in advance!
