Thanks everyone for the great feedback.
For #2, when I remove the back sash, it hangs too much in the front and looks frumpy. Tying it like that was the only way to get it to be narrow at the waist. I'll see if I can get it to work with my other outfits because it will be a little bit of a hassle to return that one.

I agree with the others. Keep the first if it goes with your wardrobe and lifestyle. The only drawback I see is that the fushia lining may be limiting.
I'd return the second one rather than work to try to make it fit in unless the tie is easily removable and you love it.

Glad you joined us.
If you love the first one keep it because it will look very good with skinnies.
The second one is not great and I wouln't keep two cardigans with such similar styles.

I agree with Kelly. The second one give an odd look from the back and side. Like the first one. Congrats on posting!

I like the first one. Can the sash be removed from the second one? I'm not feeling the belted in the back look. It seems like there is too much gathering in the back. I have a drape front cardigan that is very similar that I wear quite often with skinnies and boots/flats. It looks like you could do the same with either.

Welcome!

I've been a long time lurker but after realizing what great advice I can get from posting pictures, I made the plunge and joined!

So I'd like some opinions-
Please excuse my lounge pants. I wouldn't wear this entire outfit out in public.

I bought 2 new cardigans, but I'm not sure if I should keep them.

http://i18.photobucket.com/alb.....eater1.jpg
The first is from JC Penney. I got it for such a great price, but there's no point keeping it if I don't love it. And I'm not exactly sure if I love it. I don't know exactly how I would wear it, but I love the feel of the fabric and the coziness of it. I don't like wearing it belted because I feel like it shortens me and makes me look stubby. But leaving it open feels too overwhelming.

For the second one- does the style work for my body type. It's not meant to be worn with the sash tied back, but it looked a lot more flattering on me this way. Yay or nay?
http://i18.photobucket.com/alb.....eater2.jpg
