I reallly love the military jacket-- so much better in the size up. It looks great on you. The purple sweater I really don't like. It is a beautiful color, but even with something over/and/or under it it visually clings to the tummy badly-- in photos your tummy isn't usually apparent, so this is highlighting it. The giraffe print top is alright. I think it is a great fit, but the print is somehow "odd" plus the purple giraffe coupled with the strangeness of it will probably make it a "one season" animal print versus one you can wear for a couple years. It is giraffe that a bad artist drew--- it makes it look more like rocks to me. The cut is very flattering though.

Love the military jacket and the purple sweater! I think it would look even better without the white shirt underneath, not to mention it will feel even more cozy! Hope your Thanksgiving went ok for you- you've been in my thoughts all weekend!

Joy, Corey doesn't really like animal print in general, so he wasn't keen on this top. :)
I can easily return it!

Michelle, I feel that the giraffe top is a nice top on you but not a 10...maybe an 8 or 9, if that helps. We are just looking at one photo and one angle. What does Corey think of it?

Michelle- I think I would return the giraffe print top. I think you can do better. The jacket and purple sweater are fab on you.

When Cory takes your picture, is he rotating the camera to get the full length shot? I do that, and when I upload to my computer, I can right click and choose "rotate counterclockwise" to get them the right direction for viewing.

Thanks all. I have o idea why the pictures keep posting sideways!! I used to think it was Corey's camera, but he now has a new one and these pictures were taken using it, so clearly the issue is somewhere else. I've tried emailing original files top people and often they show up the right way up. I don't know what's going on!
Interesting comments about the giraffe print top. It's not remotely clingy in real life, which is part of why I liked it.
The pullover is a knit, so maybe that's why it looks clingier.
Glad the military jacket works so well! I'm hoping to wear it with my cobalt blue dress for a talk I have to give to university students tomorrow. :)
So should I return the giraffe-print top? I'm going to be back oin te store's vicinity today and need to decide.

Love the military jacket - the size up is perfect!! I think the blue top is too clingy though - can it be sized up to test? As for the print top, I'm on the fence about it (to me it looks like giraffe print btw). I agree that being able to see the outfit front on, rather than side on might help in the evaluation process if you can!

I'm going to speak up for the giraffe print top. I really like it on you! The colour is lovely, the neckline is pretty and I think although it is a little clingy it is in a good way - it seems to come in a little under your breasts and give you a nice shape. I think with the higher waist, the neckline and the pretty colour it draws attention upward toward your face.
Just my opinion.

That jacket is more like a 12 or a 15, way over a 10 on you! Keep!!

I really like the purple sweater. It looks classic and a great color for you. You totally rock a v-neckline. Maya may have a point about it clinging a bit though.

The military jacket is a great find. Keep!
I like the purple sweater and how you've styled it with the white shirt. The color is pretty on you. You might give it a yank to stretch it just a bit horizontally through the mid section.
The other top is a large giraffe print but with color shading that looks more leopard than giraffe, if that makes sense. I'm not sure how I feel about it on you. In the photo it looks like it may cling more than you would want it to. The pattern looks good with your black pants.

Michelle, is there any way you can elicit help with your photos so that they aren't displayed sideways?

What did you end up wearing to Canadian TG and how was your outfit received? You were in my thoughts.

Military jacket looks so much better! I'm glad I stuck to my guns...

The tops...hmm. The second one definitely looks quite tight. Does it feel that way? I can't tell if it is or if the print makes it seem that way, but I'm not crazy about it.

The purple sweater might be a bit clingy, but I'm ultra sensitive to that.

Michelle, that military jacket is a keeper!
#2 looks like a nice basic if you need one and color looks good on you.
I am not a fan of #3 on you though color is lovely. It seems that this pattern makes you bigger than you are.

Yay, military jacket! Definitely a keeper! I'm not as sure about the other two - like Kari said, the colors are great, but the styles seem a little off somehow. Or maybe it is the sideways picture?

Michelle - I'm crazy about the military jacket on you. It's by far my favorite of the 3, and looks like it fits very well. I've tried to find a military jacket that I like on myself and gave up on the look after too many failed attempts. Can I live vicariously through you, please? :)

I'm having trouble telling how the fit and print work on you in the 3rd picture - it's turned sideways and for some reason that's throwing off my sense of how the print looks. Sorry that I'm not more help on this one! I like the deep purple color on you a lot, though, and the detail on the neckline is gorgeous and very busty hourglass-friendly!

Hope everyone's been keeping well the past few days!

Just wanted to play a quick round of keep or return, if you'd be so kind.

First up is the military jacket discussed last week. As mentioned then, I bought a size up from what I initially pictured, and a few people asked to see it before passing final judgment. So here it is. If it's less than a 10 or you fear it will date too quickly, I'll return it.

Second and third are a couple of tops. The purple pullover may not be h ugely exciting, but it's crazy comfortable and useful for winter days here. If it looks awful, though, back it goes.
The third top is my foray into animal print (the person in the store said giraffe, Corey said leopard, so you can help tell me which one). Another one that will go back if it's less than a 10. I was drawn to the lovely silky fabric and the pretty-sounding colours, but I defer to you here.

Thank you, ladies!
