I suggested trying a size up just because it seems to hang a little funny in the first picture. It's not the ideal neckline for a large bust, so it just sort of tents out over the chest (I have experienced this problem many, many times myself). Some were concerned about pocket placement, while others were really excited by the possibilities. Everyone agreed it was a nice piece in and of itself. :)<br /> So today I bought it. This store has a great return policy and I can take it back quite easily, so please don't hold back with your opinion!<br /> I'm posting two pics of it, one open and one closed. Let me just say right now that hook-and-eye closure systems (a la Carissa Rose) are the greatest things of all time!</p> <p>For what it's worth, I purchased a size up from what you're seeing. It didn't compromise the length one bit and just felt a little easier for layering purposes.<br /> But if the whole thing is a bust, or the brass hardware is too much and will date the item, please speak up. :)</p> <p>P.S. My adoration for the photo-posting feature grows with every forum topic I write in! </p>
