You can see the dark color of my bermudas when it hangs loose, but you can't see the outline of my bra through it. When it's high and tight, I don't think you can see through at all. I'm not intending on layering this- I need things that can be worn without layering in the summer because it's just too hot here. I liked the cutaway shoulder that this had, and also the loose fit, which is much cooler than something tight. It's not styled in these pictures, I was just trying it on. Some of the lace is a little cheezy, but some of it is nicer.
