The sleeves are too short I think, and it is shapeless. If the sleeves were let down it might work for a summer jacket over clams or skinny jeans, but it probably would need alterations to make it work. Is the quality out of this world and worth all of the alterations? Do you love the color and feel you got such a good deal on it that you would risk the alterations not coming out as you had imagined? These are things I would think about and then I'd be just like you in not making my mind up. I think the ladies are right, pass, and wait for another to come along. I sprung for a black Theory pantsuit last month, and now I'm trying to fill in with maybe one or two other useful neutral jackets.</p> <p>Photo #1 - A hit? I'm really loving this Hive and Honey tweed jacket...super affordable and flattering. I could wear this for teaching and feel very comfortable and appropriate.</p> <p>Photos #2-5 - A miss? I got the last of these Vince linen blazers from Shopbop.....but I'm not feeling the boxy shape. What do you think? Is my eye just too old-fashioned to recognize a new silhouette, or is it a miss? It was on sale, but spendy just the same so I really don't want to settle...or have to do major alterations. I keep going back and forth....sometimes I think I can make it work...sometimes I feel like the Good Humor man! </p>
