Yes, I got carried away with adding so much, but they all get used regularly and have a place in the closet. It took me several wears to get used to the lighter colors but now I rarely wear black boots and booties. You will enjoy lighter booties, but you don't need to settle if you are unsure. Only keep what you love. I do not think that these look too flowerpotish. Have you considered a half sole to combat the slipperiness? I do this with nearly all my shoes - especially leather soled ones and it makes a huge difference. Heel is also perfect, not too low, not too high. Very happy with the comfort. And now to the point of bow - to be honest, I am not too crazy about it. Somehow feels too precious for me, and I may be happier without it. But would they be too plain without it?
