You can throw it on, add a belt and you're done. The blue one reminds me of an oldschool waitress at truck stop - which could be a ton of fun to play with, but not so great just to put on and go. If I was going to style the blue - it would be totally balls out: cat eye glasses, huge (fake!) pearls, bright red lipstick - sassy silliness. Oh - and I'd insist that everyone refer to me as Alice, or possibly Stella. I admit I am biased because I like shirt-dresses in general. In this pic, the slightly relaxed sleeves and the sleeves line up against each other making it look like a solid wash of color and hide your waist. The sleeves also seem to end at the same point as your 'waist'. Can you roll up the sleeves a tad? No I don't mean you need 5 miles of cleavage showing. It's just too buttoned up right now, which adds to the dowdy factor. I also think the belt could go a little higher. Doesn't seem to be hitting you in your narrowest spot.</p> <p>The rest depends on accessorizing. If you can do it, it's a keeper. Jackets, fun vintage-looking tights, oxfords, belted bf cardi...just a few thoughts that come to mind...</p> <p>I wouldn't give up on it just yet.
