However, the thing I've learned from long experience is that if *you* have some reservations about a piece, the chances are you will not wear it much - even if others tell you it looks good. I completely agree about the green top and pleated skirt - too much volume all over the place when worn together. I will get a photo of the new skirt with a couple of more sleek tops. The original one I bought to go with this skirt got nixed by DH and my friends so I won't even bother showing it (it's in my return pile), but I will say it is more structured and slim fitting. Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm eager to hear more comments.</p> <p>Perhaps I need to look at the Halogen seamed skirt... You need a more fitted top to balance the flare. And I like the green top, but not with the bolero. I think it would look great under a cardi or longer jacket. So there's two keeps!</p> <p>To be honest, I don't love the bolero, and you know i'm a cropped jacket-head. I don't think those two items work well together--I prefer the green top with the pencil skirt. Love the new red stripey top too--very cute. I think the bolero is cute but I'm not sure about the fit. Please forgive the bare legs and shoelessness (thus I cropped my feet) I always run late on days off and wanted to get these pics taken before getting dressed for the day.</p> <p>#1 - top from Anthro, jacket and skirt from Modcloth. I think the jacket might be a tad small - it's tight at the neck if I close it. That said, I doubt I'd wear it closed anyway. The skirt I LOVED online, but it's got a satin sheen to it that I am not in love with. I apologize for the wrinkles - these all just arrived today. The Anthro top I quite like but wonder if it will work with skirts.</p> <p>#2 - Anthro top with an old pencil skirt. The skirt needs a good iron and I'm not sure fits that well (see #4/5) but is old and the reason I am looking to buy new skirts!</p> <p>#3 - The bolero again with pencil skirt and new stripped top</p> <p>#4 - Tucked. I am not loving this look, mainly perhaps because of the poor fitting skirt!</p> <p>#6 - Different skirt, same problem I think.</p> <p>#7 - What I have on! I cuffed the cargos and am LOVING the Miz Mooz brogues.</p> <p>So what do you guys think? Any keepers? I like the jacket and top a lot but the b/w skirt... Hmm. That sheen kinda irks.
