BUT I can relate to your remark of "I didn’t realize they were so wide". I love me white jeans/pants for summer, and always have a few pairs---but they are mostly cigarette/straight cut--and&nbsp; realised culotte and wide legs are a bit tricky in white (which I also have for fall in tweeds or darker colors). They make for a really&nbsp; huge amount of light color on my not so slim and not at all petite self. This can be further emphasised by stiffness of the&nbsp; true thick&nbsp; cotton twill&nbsp; fabric from which&nbsp; jeans tend to be made of. First I didn’t realize they were so wide. Secondly if I cannot wear them this fall I am not keeping. First picture is with sandals second with boots.
