I've not had any luck with this shape of pant either. And a problem I often have with curvy fits that I do need the room in the seat, and the proportionally small waist, but I end up with an unflattering amount of extra fabric at the sides of my thighs. So a tapered pant is tempting. A size six at Boden, LE, EDdie Bauer, some Target brands, etc often do this but a smaller size is just too snug in the seat. Anyway. Onward.
