I so badly want this to work, but its not reasonable to buy a new bra for a single dress; I will not compromise on bra fit/support. I spent a good hour at my favourite lingerie store trying various options. I couldn't find one that precisely matchd the dress, so instead went for a nude option that was cut low enough to be covered by the lined part. It also happened that the adjustable part of the strap followed the lines of the dress exactly, so I could just move that little metal bit down into a lined area. Apparently a strap is now only visible on me if someone's standing right next to me and actively looking for it on my shoulder. It's so flattering that if I were you, even if the brightness of the blouse bothered me too much to keep it, I would immediately search for that style again. For me, personally, the look isn't as elegant with a cami underneath. The lines of the dress would be stronger and cleaner if it was just bare skin (or an unidentifiable undergarment) underneath. In my current bra, I had to buy a bigger band size than I needed in order to get the correct volume and then have the tailoring fairies at Nordstrom cut it to fit.
