				<description>&#060;p&#062;Thanks for your helpful comments, ladies! I appreciate it.&#060;br /&#062;
Diane P., yes, the belt needed to be adjusted better, didn't realize it was so high in the middle when the pic was snapped. Thanks Runcala, it seems several other people would like to see a different coverup with it. It came with the dress and matches blue perfectly, but finding other coverups won't be a big deal. Thanks Agnes for the suggestions. It's for a wedding, but would be fun to dress down for other occasions. Thanks Elle for the shoe help. Lyn67, I agree, I'd like it a bit more if it was taken in a bit, and I don't think the next size down would work for me in the chest area. I have a sister who might be able to help me with it. Harmonica, I agree, the print is a bit big, I do like it though. Helps that the flowers are only one color. Lyrebirdgully, thanks for taking the time to help me, and the pointers about the shrug. Thistle, thanks for the shoe help. The belt can easily be adjusted, probably I had up too high. Thanks Angie, I'll have to look at other shrugs/cardigans/etc., and see what I come up with. Obviously your opinion on keeping it means a lot. Claudia, yes the shoes are gold. The dress is ivory and I have no other shoes at the moment that are ivory, and thought my black high heeled mary janes were a bit too harsh with it. Silver might look better with the cool blue tone, you are right, thanks.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I love this dress! Agree that this shrug takes away from it. Are these shoes golden? Are they silver and reflecting the tan carpet? If they are gold, I think a silver metallic would be better, goes along with the icy blue tone.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;It's a stunning dress!!! Please keep it. I see many more modern cover-up options though. The shrug takes away from the spectacular frock in a way. Does that make sense?

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I love, love, love the skirt on this on you.  The color suits you beautifully, and the print does not make you look &#034;bigger&#034;. It is also very pretty.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I feel like the belt is riding too high on you. Does this need a tug down, or is it settling there? The belt is th eonly thing on the dress not perfect.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I think you can do better on the shoes, but they are not a deal breaker, I just don't feel they add a lot to the outfit. Perhaps some ballet flats or Mary Janes (I don't do pumps, but if you do, these would look fab).

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Thanks for sharing your new outfit Columbine. I think this is a lovely dress on you in shape and length, and I love the pattern and especially the colours.( Is it for a special occasion?) I have wide hips, and A-line midi skirts and dresses (like this one) are my most favourite skirt silhouette.  I wonder if the shrug could be contributing to your feeling that the outfit looks “wide”? –the dress colour seems bright relative to the darker shrug ( at least in the photo); so the viewer’s eye is perhaps drawn first to the part of the outfit below the waist, i.e. the skirt. If you wanted to experiment with drawing  the eye up and away from your hips, you could try putting on a jacket in a lighter colour that would tone with the background colour of the dress pattern- (cream? it’s always a bit hard to tell colour with indoor lighting in photos) Here’s an example of how a light colour jacket can work with an eye-catching print: &#060;a href=&#034;http://whatshappeningatmyhouse.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/article-2003990-0c958c3e00000578-996_306x554.jpg?w=714&#034; rel=&#034;nofollow&#034;&#062;http://whatshappeningatmyhouse......jpg?w=714&#060;/a&#062;&#060;br /&#062;
But regardless of what jacket you wear, feeling attracted to the print of the dress itself is important, so that you can feel happy and content when you wear it. By all means listen to the comments here at YLF, but in the end go back to your own inner fashion voice. That inner sense or barometer – the feeling you have when you look at an outfit - will always tell you how closely something is, or isn’t, aligning with your style soul.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Gorgeous dress and wonderful colour! I do love the 1950's retro style and the shoes you picked, but I am slightly wondering if the print is a bit big? Let's hear what other have to say <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-smile icon-emoticon-smile "></span>

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I like the dress with the jacket, beautiful colors, but would tapper the sides of the skirt a bit for not such a wide flare--it worth altering and will make a huge diffrence for sure. Just my 2 cents:-)

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Its a beautiful dress on you! I would like to see it also with more casual accessories for another occasion.Looks like the kind of dress that would be quite versatile in that way. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;And I agree, Its a very sweet site. But people will still tell you the truth which is good.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;This dress has a 50s retro feel, and is a beautiful colour and print. It seems formal, or dressy as well. I would like to see it without the shrug, though I like the top, too. It does not detract from your shape, and conveys 'lady-like bombshell' style (in my opinion.)

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Hello ladies,&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I need some help deciding if this is a keeper dress. I would love it a little more if the print were smaller. I do not want to look wider than I am and bigger prints tend to do that to me. <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-sad icon-emoticon-sad "></span> It's a Jessica Howard dress from Macy's. Also, if it's a keeper dress, are the shoes I picked ok? Thanks ladies. I'm new here but this is probably the sweetest and most constructive sites I've ever joined.
