Something about a jewel neckline and a structured short sleeve isn't as appealing to me when it's in a dark color. Now, under a jacket or cardi, these would be great. I would never have thought to add yellow to that and it really looks great! Very pretty dress on you. The second dress doesn't seem quite right for you though. The overall fit seems better in the smaller size except for the pulling at the bust and if you go up a size to avoid the pulling across the bust it's too big everywhere else.
