I too was concerned about the width/bulk of the collar. I have fallen in love with this coat and have been wearing non stop since he purchased it. (long before the holidays.) I always wear it with a scarf or button down to offset my/Angies concerns about neck proportions. I learned this from my last winter jacket. I am not super fond of the color though, maybe it's just the lighting in the photo, but it's somewhat drab. It's a hard color to pinpoint actually. I think the collar adds dimension and that it does not make you look broad shouldered. It's very wide and makes my already broad shoulders look even wider. I don't love the buttons on the side pockets. It feels like one big rectangle.</p> <p>Pro: Nice EUC (Earthy Urban Chic) piece - soft, earthy color; looks both cozy and classy to me. Haven't found anything else at all that even comes close.</p> <p>But that wide collar ... I just don't know! </p>
