The color is lovely and the detailing is fabulous. IKWYM when you look at the styling and think it's overwhelming or it has too much going on. I think it looks wonderful with the black dress. Perhaps that's how you make it work &nbsp;-- by pairing it with very simple pieces. I just love how they amp up the style quotient. I will agree the detailing might compete with a plaid but I don't feel the same way about the competition factor in #4. I think it's a balance that you'll have to play with. But if something still fits and looks good, like these, I'd give it some time. Or, do you have&nbsp;several others so you just don't get around to these? Can you go, these, or these? If not, then it seems like they can still be good outfit-extenders for you. Fit and comfort are key and so if those are good, new boots may not be better. Love them with outfits 3 &amp; 4, especially the knee socks!!
