Even if you don't wear it every day, it is a good solid coat to wear to nice occasion, to work, interviews, anything needing a sharp and "together" look. That said, I do find it a bit boring for every day. You look like a spunky person with a cute haircut... maybe you'd prefer something more colourful or less traditional? Either way, it's a good piece to have to fall back on. And for those who were concerned,&nbsp;I definitely have a puffer for the Calgary winter as well, but since this coat&nbsp;is a wool-alpaca blend that's a bit warmer than most, I got more use out of it&nbsp;than expected last year. I think it looks a bit too big but overall is a good look, so no need to be hasty. If you get a replacement, be sure to get the roominess needed for layering. So this coat may do that for you while you try to find one. It's very hard to judge coats by photo--I think our eyes are adjusted for models wearing coats without all the real winter layering--they look like they're just out for a stroll in the park and not for a Calgary winter! &nbsp;Still, the right cut and style will look good over jackets. I definitely have a collection of coats, even from before I moved to Canada, though I definitely agree that I&nbsp;wear them more here. But&nbsp;I fell in love with this one a few years ago so if I can keep it awhile longer, I'd be happy. </p> <p>I'm having a similar issue with my puffer, which I probably ended up&nbsp;wearing more often last winter, but I was never quite as attached to, so I won't mind giving it up as much&nbsp;if I find a replacement. Hopefully it won't take me three years! I had joined last year shortly before moving from the US to Canada, and then promptly got too busy to keep up. It was the kind of move that involved taking whatever fit in my car and nothing else, so I purged quite a bit beforehand. And then I lost weight over the next few months and most of my wardrobe was too big.&nbsp;</p> <p>This seemed really noticeable as&nbsp;I pulled out my fall/winter coats this week and felt like I'm swimming in them. I'm trying to decide if I can get one more season out of my favorite gray coat from the last few years&nbsp;or if it looks as big as it feels and I should just look for a replacement. Outerwear is already selling&nbsp;quickly here&nbsp;(I'm in Calgary, so we'll need it soon) so if I'm going to buy a new coat, I should probably do it soon.</p> <p>I've got a picture of it unbelted and belted. I guess yay for keep and nay for let it go?&nbsp;Any thoughts would be welcome.&nbsp;Thanks! </p>
