My DD has been trying on these types of skirts and some have very obvious hips in them that she can't fill out. A look from the tailor will help. </p> <p>I agree that you should keep it and wear it regardless. It will be a great travel piece and a workhorse no doubt. One of the curved pieces which are seamed together was cut so it doesn't exactly match up to the piece it is supposed to match, or the curve of the piece isn't the same as the curve over the hip should be. </p> <p>It is an excellent color for you! The first one I tried on in the store had the same pucker on the one side. So the SA brought me another one and it had the same thing. She then checked all the skirts in the store and they were all like that. However, she believes it is not a defect of the skirt but how they were packed in the warehouse when shipped to the stores. I solved my problem by washing the skirt by hand and the pucker relaxed. It's not completely gone I must admit, but it's lessened enough that it doesn't bother me.</p> <p>Obviously I don't know if you ordered a second one if it would be the same or not, I just thought I'd point out that this was the case in my brick and mortar store.</p> <p>I personally don't find this size on you too big - the size smaller would be quite body con.
