Somehow I associate Lori's Shoes with Kyle -- am I making that up? If I'm not, maybe she'll chime in with her experiences.

And just to second this viewpoint -- how amazing is it that YLF actually recognizes the need for comfort and functionality in stylish footwear? It's what totally kills magazines such as Lucky for me; I end up rolling my eyes at the shoe choices, even the ones they select for women who specifically say they're active college students, or on their feet all day at work.

Great, you've just told us you're running on foot all day -- let's put you in 4-inch dominatrix heels with fifty birdcage straps crawling up your ankles and see how it works out! Ready, set, go...

ITA about this forum inspiring me and giving me stylish and comfortable footwear ideas. I need to be kinder to my feet, but don't want to look frumpy while doing it. Thanks YLFers!

That said, I couldn't get a good fit with the KC Cedar City sandals. Boo! However, if I were able to fit them, I would have gotten them in bronze or pewter.

Get 'em and enjoy!

Another Chicagoan here - Lori's is a reputable shoe store here. I wouldn't worry about ordering from them.

I shop at Loris Shoes at the real store and have never had any problems. I actually thought they were a Chicago local chain only- didnt realize they were online too! It's smart of them to do so.

Of all of the things ylf has brought to my life, happy feet is probably top of the list. My feet are super-fussy and I very rarely found shoes that worked for me...until I started trying out almost everything that you all recommend. Thanks!

So now I'm onto the KC Cedar City, which I tried on yesterday at Macy's. I definitely want them, but I really want to get them in bronze and I'm having trouble finding my size (7.5). The one website I found is Lori's Shoes http://www.lorisshoes.com/default.asp

Has anyone ever ordered from them? I'm willing to take a risk but I'd so much rather use a bigger online retailer--I've had some problems with some orders in the past.
