I have only a few Kate Spade pieces, but I find they do run true to the size chart. I'm an hourglass sz. 6-8 at AT, BR, Talbots, and WHBM, and my Kate Spade dresses are an 8. The dresses definitely seem like they're tailored to curvier figures. Hope this helps.

Totally agree with Inge about the endless.com measurements for the KS shoes. I used this for my cobalt pumps and they fit perfectly.

Inge, that is a wonderful idea! I'd not thought of doing this. The measurements would be very helpful. Thank you for your suggestion.

Hi Joy,

You could always do a search on endless.com for the KS shoes you are considering. For each pair of shoes they have the measurements in inches and centimetres (under "how it fits"). I found this very helpful when buying my cobalt pumps: I went with the size that was closest to the measurements in centimetres and they fit perfectly. Hope this helps a little.

Tanya, GirlX, and KL, I really appreciate your comments. It's good to know that the sizing chart for clothing is pretty accurate.

I don't have any experience with Kate Spade and am wondering the same thing... size charts are almost useless for my body type because they assume at least somewhat of an hourglass figure and mine is the opposite.

I've found the size chart at katespade.com to be wonderfully accurate for clothing, but I've had extreme inconsistencies with shoes, and as such never buy their shoes if they're final sale. I'm normally an 8 or a 8 1/2, but of the two pairs of KS I have, one is a 7 and the other a 9 1/2

Happy shopping!

I have just got my first Kate Spade blouse. It is a boxy cut, and I got it in size 0, which is the same size I tend to be in AT woven tops. I hope others will know more.

I've been tempted when I see Kate Spade on deep discount (usually final sale) to order but am afraid the item won't fit. Those of you who have some of her pieces, what body type does she design for? How does sizing compare to AT or Halogen, etc?
How about shoe sizing? I'd appreciate any guidelines you have. I don't have anything particular in mind but would like to be prepared to order if the right item at a price I can afford turns up.
