With the internet and the non-stop celebrity culture we now have, there are a lot of people that the media follows. In Diana's day, the paparazzi seemed to focus on far fewer people because there weren't as many outlets to showcase them, so the impact was greater. Below is a photo that illustrates what I mean. I think the deep plum hat, shoes, and bag really rev up her basic black. The entire ensemble is chic without being costume-y.</p> <p>I'd be interested in hearing what you ladies think ... does she have the potential to become a fashion icon? Or does she lack the charisma and star power needed to pick up where Diana left off? Or ... don't you care at all? </p>
