Take my advice with a grain of salt, but here it goes.
I do believe in cost per wear, and I keep track of it diligently. In my experience, there is no way to bring down the cost per wear of a $160 dress (and ultimately a day dress) to a reasonable price, like, say $3 - which is what I consider to be a reasonable cpw for a dress. You'd have to wear it more than 50 times. If it were boots, or jeans, yes, it would be worth it, but for a dress, no.
That said, cpw is not the only factor that people take into account when making purchasing decisions. I am only offering one perspective, so take it for what it is worth to you. IF you absolutely love it and willing to live with a higher cpw, go for it!

I bought a short sleeved Megan, and a Marisa. I used the FEMM30 code and Karina gave me $30 off each dress. The dresses are comfortable, feminine, and I get lots of compliments on both. They truly do not wrinkle AT ALL (they come wadded into a ball). You can wash them out in a sink and hang to dry. When I had fit issues, they responded quickly to my emails, and the exchange process was easy.

Another thing: I am very busty and usually cannot wear a crossover style without a cami. These dresses both give me full coverage, no cami necessary. On me they are a true knee length and do not require careful leg arrangement when sitting.

They are pricy, say compared to Target where I got my last couple of dresses! But what's it worth to look like a lady in complete comfort? Plus to be able to shove them into a corner of a suitcase, just wow!

Thanks Manidipa! Well, I hadn't thought about what I'd wear if I get the job! But I think it depends on the age group I get assigned to. For younger kids, I would wear jeans and a t shirt, for kids between 6 and 11, I could wear some nicer stuff and not worry about stains!

Of course, the job would only be for four hours every evening, so I could wear this to class and when I go out! We're also travelling a lot in May and June, so it would come in handy!

No advice, but like your choices. Especially love the Marisa, and then the Penelope. A little uncertain about the Megan --- could be a little overwhelming on your smaller frame, and if you do end up wearing your new dress on the job (fingers crossed!) would show stains very easily. Or did you want something only for more grown-up occasions?

I've seen reviews of Karina dresses (http://karinadresses.myshopify.com/collections/all) on a lot of blogs and I'm finally considering ordering one next month, either the Penelope (http://karinadresses.myshopify.....loral-sale) or Megan (http://karinadresses.myshopify.....ort-sleeve) or Marisa (http://karinadresses.myshopify.....sleeveless).

Have you guys tried this brand? It seems that the dresses are machine washable and they don't wrinkle (and hence are good for travel).

At $160, they aren't cheap but I wouldn't mind investing a versatile and flattering dress that isn't made of cheap polyester and doesn't have to be ironed!
