I've basically abandoned all straight leg pants for exactly this reason, unless they are cut very slim and end on the ankle or above.</p> <p>The culottes are fab! I find bootcuts easier, ppl issues aside, because you can wear booties or chunky shoes with them. </p> <p>Can you roll the jeans up or are bare ankles not allowed? I have some catching up to do but it's a specialty contractor so while regs have changed, the work is pretty much the same. Dress code is casual--dark wash jeans and a blouse/sweater every day. I need closed toe shoes and will keep work boots in the car. I just can't figure out why my straight legs look so bad with all of my booties.
