I love the adjustable heel strap which will definitely make these more secure. I worry about Espadrilles. They can be very stiff. When Angie talks about breaking in shoes, I think about these because the sole is often inflexible so when you walk it can feel like marching depending on the shoe. Also, maybe because of this, I don't think they hold up well.
